Very relatable! The marathon teaches much and can be applied in so many other areas. My faith journey is as long, winding and never a straight line! They tell us the distance is 26.2, but it never really is a perfect straight line…as I was reminded last Sunday…I get cold…run into store buy a shirt! Hit the bathroom, off-course and time ticks on! Either way, I have faith in both to kil now I will get there…eventually. Not ever going to be first or the most elegant, but I will get there. And I am not talking about just the race…have to embrace it all and always keep moving.

I think even when we make the marathon a "race" we can lose sight of what the journey is truly about.
